Home-Start Knowsley volunteers play a vital role in our work. Volunteers give encouragement and support to families and make a real difference to local families.

We have various roles of volunteers at Home-Start Knowsley such as:

Assisting with Family groups

Family support – Home visiting

Fundraising Volunteers

Perinatal and Parent-Infant Mental Health Peer Support (0-2 years)

SEN Peer Support

Admin Support

Volunteers with other skill sets are also welcome e.g.Gardening, IT, PR, Finance etc.

We ask volunteers that are supporting families on 1-1 basis to give just 2-3 hours of their time a week and that they are parents or have lots of experience of looking after young children.
